Bio 27 years old. My partner, of 6 years, and I own Windsor Cottage in Grand Rapids, MI. High-end furniture consignment and home accessories. (I know little about furniture/design so I'm not the one to ask. Unless you like things that light up and make noise or stolen road signs).
Because I'm not busy enough I drive school bus for Forest Hills Public Schools in Ada, MI. I love kids and autos so it just fits.
I have a stack of music degrees, voical and instrumental, and currently singing with Opera Grand Rapids and West Michigan's Gay Men’s Chorus. Karaoke has become an unhealthy obsession and I'm always up for some "singing."
I LOVE CARS.
-I'm always up for an impromptu carburetor rebuild!
I take things apart just to see how they work. Usually have some "extra" nuts and bolts left over. I have a 1964 Thunderbird convertible, Sunshine Yellow. Found out that less than 9,200 '64 convertibles where built. RARE, BABY! It's pretty and drives like a sofa. I can fix almost anything and do body work/paint. If you have any cool memories of the T-birds I'd like to hear them...were conceived in the back of one? :)
My partner and I have 2 awesome dogs, Pug-Beijing and Boston Terrier-Milton. They are usually at the store with us. If they aren't "working" that day the customers,disappointed, ask when they'll be there....and show up. The damn dogs also get cards in the mail and toys/treats from customers. Totally spoiled.
